Russian Foreign Minister: Experts should be sent to Syria to investigate the chemical attack

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in Moscow on the 15th that Russia is of the opinion that it is necessary to send experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to Syria to investigate suspected chemical weapons attacks in Idleb, Syria.
Lavrov made this statement at a press conference after a meeting with visiting Mozambican Foreign Minister Mohammed. Lavrov also said that the current investigation against the suspected CW attack should be more transparent. Lavrov suggested that an independent team of investigators should investigate the incident and the airport where the air strikes took off.
Syria in the northwest of the province of Idlebu suspected of the use of chemical weapons on the 4th incident, causing serious casualties. The Syrian opposition accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in air raids. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs subsequently denied and stressed that government forces do not currently have any form of chemical weapons.
